What makes Kona Coffee so unique is that it only blooms in February and March. Because of the short harvest season there is less on the market which results in more companies opting for a Kona Blend over a 100% Kona Coffee. Check the label on your coffee purchase to see the percentage of Kona Coffee inside. Hawaiian law states that it will say 100% Kona Coffee only if it truly 100%. They must also list the percentage of Kona Coffee in each blend.
